I was overjoyed to find the absolutely cutest Gir hat pattern ever. Even more so that it's fairly easy, but a little different, so I get to learn a few new techniques, woohoo! I ordered Cascade 220 in Lime, Fuschia, Black and White and my box from Eat.Sleep.Knit arrived on Saturday. After my customary oohing and ahhing, & photos for my Ravelry page, I eagerly started casting on, not paying too much attention but throwing in just a few extra stitches, because I've had issues with knit-in-the-round hat patterns not being big enough before.
Said adorable pattern link here! Gir awesomeness!! YAY!!
I got through the first few directions, stopped for the night, and picked it back up this morning. Except, as I'm looking at it, I'm wondering what on earth - it looks WAY too huge. Like.. HUGE. Whaaaaaaaaa?
I counted - and instead of casting on 92 stitches, somehow I cast on 150.
