Eat.Sleep.Knit's 2015 Yarnathon
ESK has been my go-to for ideas, yarn, and challenges. I love having something to look forward to, to compete at and to complete (it's the Capricorn in me lol) so this was a no-brainer for me as this year's project. Probably next year's, too!
Knit - A - Longs:
1. Colorwork. Choice of five patterns: Fightin’ Words; Roosimine Socks; Stitch Block Cowl; Color Infusion; or the Pixelated Pullover. Prize: 250 yards for mitts or socks, 500 yards for the cowls, 1000 yards for Pixelated Pullover knitters. COMPLETED
2. Headgear. Hats, headbands, ear muffs, SNOODS. Minimum yardage: 50 yards. Prize: 250 yards. COMPLETED
3. Shawls. Minimum yardage for this one is 250 yards. Prize: 500 yards for shawls using 250-650 yards, 1000 yards for shawls using more than 650 yards. COMPLETED
4. Hitofude Cardigan. Prize: 1000 yards.
5. No Sleeves! Three pattern options: Mereweather; Beekeeper’s Tank; or Hane. Prize: 500 yards. Merewether, on the needles.

11. Felting. Projects should be all or primarily felting to be eligible for prizes. Minimum yardage is 150 yards. Prize: 250 yards
12. Chunky Knits. For this knit-a-long, any chunky, bulky, or super bulky projects count, minimum yardage is 125 yards. Prize: 250 yards for projects using 125-250 yards, 500 yards for projects using more than 250 yards.

Amelia Earhart (20 points) - In June, a new expedition is set to find out more about what happened to Amelia! She disappeared just shy of completing the first female flight around the world, a distance of 40,075 km. To get this badge, knit up at least 40,075 yards of yarn!
